This tank can be identified by looking at the number of screws that are holding down your old sending unit. This tank uses 5 (FIVE) Screws to hold the sender to the tank.

1945-1964 Jeep® CJ 2A, 3A,and early 3B up to serial # 39838. under seat tank with 5 screw sending unit hole and straight filler pipe. Pickup tube comes installed in the top of the tank.
