Cover Kit fits 1980-1986 Jeep CJ and 1987 Jeep YJ with Original Plastic Valve Cover. For 1987 YJ this cover only fits early 1987 with TWO bolt hold downs on driver side of cover. (Will not work with later 87 and up with 4 Bolt hold downs on driver side of cover.) This kit DOES require some simple drilling to install. Additional Application Information:
This cover can be used on 81-86 Jeep Trucks and Wagons SJ
models that originally came with the plastic cover. (Same instructions for
assembly for CJ)
This will also fit AMC Eagle Cars after 1981 with the
plastic cover, however there is an extra install consideration. Space between
the heater box and cover is so tight it requires you to remove the motor mounts
to allow the engine to drop for the cover to be installed. After installation
reinstall the mounts. All other instructions for the CJ install applies.
